Agentic Football Cup — Privacy Policy · Last modified: August 2026
Animoca Minds Limited (“Animoca Minds”, “we” or “us”) respects your privacy and commits to protecting it through our compliance with the practices described in this notice. This notice describes our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing the personal data we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit agenticfootballcup.ai, complete the sign-up flow on it, or engage with our campaign communications or any other communications or forms that link or refer to this notice (our “Website”). This notice applies to the personal data collected through our Website, regardless of the country where you are located. The Website may include links to third-party websites, plug-ins, services, social networks, or applications. Clicking on those links or enabling those connections may allow the third party to collect or share data about you. We do not control these third-party websites, and we encourage you to read the privacy notice of every website you visit.
WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR DATA. The Agentic Football Cup is a joint campaign and more than one organisation handles your personal data. Each is responsible for its own handling:
- We (Animoca Minds Limited) are the controller of the personal data you give us through the Website, and of the campaign emails we send you.
- AWS (Amazon Web Services, Inc. and its affiliates) is an independent controller of the personal data it collects when you take part in the Agentic Football Cup, and of the data it processes to operate the match infrastructure and Super League, verify results, and award and deliver prizes. AWS handles that data under its own privacy notice, which you should read at https://aws.amazon.com/privacy/. We cannot access, correct or delete data held by AWS in that capacity. Separately, where you give your consent at sign-up, AWS is also an independent controller of the contact details we pass to it for AWS’s own marketing. The AWS entity that receives your data depends on where you are located and is identified at https://aws.amazon.com/legal/marketingentities/. Withdrawing that consent with us stops any further transfer, but it does not require AWS to stop using contact details already transferred to it; to stop receiving AWS communications you must unsubscribe with AWS directly.
Where we transfer your personal data to AWS or any other third party (including any party other than AWS which distributes rewards), we say so in this notice. Requests about data held by them should be made to them directly; if you contact us instead we will pass the request on and tell you that we have done so.
Please read this notice carefully to understand our policies and practices for processing and storing your personal data. By engaging with our Website, you accept and consent to the practices described in this notice. This notice may change from time to time. Your continued engagement with our Website after any such revisions indicates that you accept and consent to them, so please check the notice periodically for updates.
YOUR ASSISTANT COACH. When you complete sign-up, an AI agent called your Assistant Coach is made available to you. It is provided under the Hello Minds terms and conditions at https://www.hellominds.ai/terms-of-use and the personal data it processes is handled in accordance with the Hello Minds privacy policy at https://hellominds.ai/privacy-policy, which you should read before you sign up. In summary, and so that you know before you give us your details: the Assistant Coach uses AI models to respond to what you tell it; it has persistent memory, which means it retains information from your interactions — such as your preferences, team selections and tactical instructions — so that it can maintain context; that memory may contain personal data; it is stored and processed by third-party AI providers; and the persistent memory feature cannot be switched off. Where anything you tell your Assistant Coach is relevant to the Agentic Football Cup, it may be shared with AWS so that AWS can verify results or investigate a suspected breach of its official rules.
Data We May Collect About You
We collect and use different types of data from and about you including:
- Personal data that we could reasonably use to directly or indirectly identify you, such as your name, email address, country or territory of residence, confirmation that you meet the minimum age requirement, user name, social media handle or other similar social identifier, or any other identifier we may use to contact or interact with you online (“personal data”).
- Non-personal data that does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity or directly relate to an identified individual, such as demographic information, statistics, or aggregated information. Statistical or aggregated data does not directly identify a specific person, but we may derive non-personal statistical or aggregated data from personal data. For example, we may aggregate personal data to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific Website feature.
- Non-personal details about your Website interactions or activities, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URLs), clickstream information to, through, and from our Website (including date and time), products viewed or searched for; page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), or methods used to browse away from the page.
- Sign-up and campaign data. What you give us through the sign-up flow, which may include your football club or team preferences, the name you give your Assistant Coach, any account identifier with third parties, and your marketing preferences.
- Competition data received from AWS. Where you enter the Agentic Football Cup, we may receive from AWS your entry status, team, match results, Super League standing and whether you have been disqualified, so that we can run the campaign and send you relevant communications.
- Prize and fulfilment data (winners and merchandise recipients only). Where you win a prize or receive merchandise, additional data may be collected including proof of identity, age and residence, passport and travel details, delivery address, sizing, and tax identification or payment details. Some of this is collected to meet legal, tax and sanctions obligations.
- Special category data. If you win the grand prize trip you may be asked about dietary requirements or accessibility needs for travel, accommodation and the event. That information can reveal your health, or your religious or philosophical beliefs, and is treated as special category data. We will collect it only with your separate explicit consent, use it solely to make the arrangements you have asked for, share it only with the travel, venue and event providers who need it, and delete it once the trip has concluded. You do not have to provide it, though some arrangements may not be possible without it.
If we combine or connect non-personal, demographic, or technical data with personal data so that it directly or indirectly identifies an individual, we treat the combined information as personal data.
How We Collect Data About You
We use different methods to collect data from and about you including through:
- Direct interactions. You may give us information about you by filling in forms or by corresponding with us by phone, email or otherwise. This includes information you provide when you create an account and log into such account, participate in discussion boards or other social media functions on our Website, participate in a campaign, promotion or survey, and when you report a problem with our Website.
- Automated technologies or interactions. As you interact with our Website, we may automatically collect technical data about your device or equipment, location, browsing actions and use patterns (including, as applicable, any use of or input to any AI tools) as specified above. We collect this information by using cookies, server logs, and other similar technologies.
- User contributions. You may provide information, content (which may include images, audio, video or text) or other input for us to process in order to provide products or services to you, or to publish or display on public Website areas or transmit to other Website users or third parties (collectively, “User Contributions”). Please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable and you submit User Contributions at your own risk. Additionally, we cannot control the actions of any third party with whom you choose to share your User Contributions. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that unauthorized persons will not view your User Contributions.
- Third parties or publicly available sources. We may receive information about you if you visit other websites employing our cookies or from third parties including, for example, business partners, sub-contractors in technical, payment and delivery services, advertising networks, analytics providers, search information providers, credit reference agencies, data brokers, or aggregators.
- Affiliate and referral links. If you create an account using an affiliate or referral link, we will automatically record that your account was created via that link at the point of sign-up. We use this to attribute your account to the relevant affiliate and to calculate referral commissions. The referral link contains a unique identifier that is captured when you click it and matched to your account at sign-up.
- From AWS. Where you register for the Agentic Football Cup, AWS may share your registration and competition data with us for the purposes described in this notice.
- From social media and advertising platforms. Where you interact with our campaign advertising, we may receive aggregated or pseudonymised information about that interaction from the platform.
Cookies And Automatic Data Collection Technologies
Our Website uses cookies (small files placed on your device) or other automatic data collection technologies to distinguish you from other Website users. This helps us deliver a better and more personalized service when you browse our Website. It also allows us to improve our Website by enabling us to improve your user experience on the Website.
You may refuse to accept browser cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your browser. However, if you select this setting, your user experience may be affected and certain features may not work correctly. Where the law applicable to you requires your consent, we will not set analytics or advertising cookies until you have given it through the cookie banner on the Website, and you can withdraw that consent or change your preferences at any time through the cookie settings link. Cookies that are strictly necessary to operate the Website do not require consent.
Our Website pages may contain web beacons (small transparent embedded images or objects, also known as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit us, for example, to count website page visitors or to compile other similar statistics such as recording Website content popularity or verifying system and server integrity.
We use cookies and URL parameters to track whether you have accessed our Website via an affiliate or referral link. These tracking technologies capture a referral identifier at the point of click and associate it with your account upon sign-up. Affiliate tracking cookies remain active for a certain duration. You may refuse affiliate tracking cookies by activating the appropriate cookie settings on your browser, but this may prevent us from correctly crediting the affiliate or user who referred you.
For this campaign we also use analytics and advertising technologies supplied by social media and advertising platforms so that we can measure the performance of our campaign advertising and show campaign content to relevant audiences. These technologies may set cookies or similar identifiers on your device and may allow the platform to match your activity to an account you hold with it.
How We Use Your Personal Data
We use your personal data to provide you with access to the Website, improve your user experience on the Website, communicate with you or to conduct other business operations, such as using data to improve and personalize your experiences. - Send you marketing communications about our other products and services where you have consented. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every marketing email, and doing so will not stop the service communications about the campaign.
- Share your data with AWS so that it can run the competition, verify results and administer and deliver prizes, and with any third parties distributing rewards so that it can supply merchandise.
- Where you have separately consented at sign-up, pass your name and email address to AWS so that AWS can send you its own news and offers. This is optional, is not required in order to register your interest, to enter the competition or to be eligible for any prize, and is separate from the marketing consent described above.
- Verify eligibility, screen against sanctions lists and meet tax and other legal obligations in connection with the award of a prize.
- Protect the integrity of the competition, including detecting and investigating multiple accounts, automated entries, collusion and other manipulation.

We may share non-personal data without restriction.
Retention Period
We will retain your personal data for as long as needed or permitted in light of the purpose(s) for which it was obtained and consistent with applicable law.
The criteria used to determine our retention periods include:
- The length of time we have an ongoing relationship with you (for example, for as long as you have an account with us);
- The amount, nature, purpose of collection and sensitivity of the data;
- Whether there is a legal obligation to which we are subject (for example, certain laws require us to keep records of your transactions for a certain period of time before we can delete them); or
- Whether retention is advisable in light of our legal position (such as in regard to applicable statutes of limitations, litigation or regulatory investigations).
We may retain anonymised or aggregated data derived from your personal data indefinitely, provided that such data cannot reasonably be used to identify you directly or indirectly.
Campaign-specific retention periods. Because this is a time-limited campaign, we apply the following in addition to the criteria above: (i) if you sign up but do not enter the competition, we will delete or anonymise your sign-up data within six (6) months after the competition concludes; (ii) if you enter, we will retain your campaign data for twelve (12) months after the competition concludes so that we can deal with queries, disputes and integrity investigations; (iii) records relating to the award of a prize, including identity, eligibility and tax documentation, will be retained for seven (7) years or such longer period as tax or accounting law requires; and (iv) where you have consented to marketing, we will retain your contact details and the record of your consent until you withdraw it, and for three (3) years afterwards so that we can evidence that we honoured your withdrawal.
Consent To Personal Data Transfer
We are based in Hong Kong. We may process, store, and transfer the personal data we collect, in and to a country outside your own, with different privacy laws that may or may not be as comprehensive as your own.
In particular, we may transfer the personal data we collect to (i) our other group companies, which operate in (among others) Australia and the United Kingdom; and (ii) any other country in which we engage our service providers or in which our business partners operate, to the extent that those service providers or business partners are involved in the offering of our products and services on the Website. We use appropriate safeguards for transfer for such data transfers, including the European Commission’s model contracts and standard contractual clauses, unless the data transfer is to a country that has been determined by the European Commission or other relevant authority, as appliable, to provide an adequate level of protection for personal data. For this campaign, personal data will also be transferred to the United States, where AWS is established and where the grand prize event takes place, and to the jurisdictions in which our other partners operate. Transfers from the United Kingdom are made using the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Where you win the grand prize trip, transferring your travel details to providers in the United States is necessary to make the arrangements you have asked for. Where you consent to receive news and offers from AWS, your name and email address are transferred to AWS in the United States on the basis of that consent.
By submitting your personal data or engaging with our Website, you consent to this transfer, storing, or processing.
