Description of Contest
From April 22, 2026 to August 12, 2026, participate in the 2026 AWS Summit Competitive Events for a chance to win a ticket to re:Invent 2026 and $1,000 in AWS credit. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. Terms and conditions apply.
Contest Terms and Conditions
By participating in the 2026 AWS Summit Workshop, Gameshow, and Kiosk at Summit Expo Floor (collectively the “Competitive Events”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
From April 22, 2026 to August 12, 2026 (“Contest Period”), participate in the 2026 AWS Summit Competitive Events (the “Contest”) for a chance to win a ticket to re:Invent 2026 and $1000 in AWS credit. Must be available to attend 2026 re:Invent on from November 30, 2026 to December 4, 2026 in Las Vegas. Must be at least 18 years of age. Excludes individuals living in Argentina, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Philippines, Russia, Spain, Thailand, Vietnam, Cuba, Iran, Syria, North Korea, and the region of Crimea. Amazon Web Services (“AWS”), employees of AWS, and their immediate family members and members of their households are not eligible to participate. Limit one entry per person.
The Contests consist of 2026 AWS Summit attendees participating in the Competitive Events offered at participating 2026 AWS Summit Locations. Participants will be evaluated based upon their position on the AI League Leaderboard (“Leaderboard”) for each Competitive Event.
Contest participants may compete in the following competitive events: Workshop, Gameshow, and Kiosk at Summit Expo Floor. Participating AWS Summit location and date information is shown below. Individual participation is required.

Judging Criteria
All eligible participants participating in 2026 AWS Summit Competitive Events during the Contest Period are evaluated by an automated artificial intelligence judging system (“AI Judge”). The AI Judge scores each submission based on predetermined, objective criteria including but not limited to: accuracy, efficiency, task completion, and response quality. Scores are calculated automatically and reflected on the Leaderboard in real-time. AWS will not manually adjust AI Judge Scores.
The top-ranked participants on the Leaderboard will be considered winners and will receive prizes according to the following:
Workshop
- Top 3 participants
- $1,000 AWS Credits
- Invitation to compete in the Gameshow for a chance to attend 2026 re:Invent and compete in the AI League 2026 Championship Grande Finale at 2026 re:Invent
Gameshow
- 1st Place
- One (1) Ticket to 2026 re:Invent
- Qualification for the AI League 2026 Championship Grande Finale at 2026 re:Invent
- Travel and accommodations for 2026 re:Invent administered by PromoVeritas, including a five (5) night stay in Las Vegas, round-trip economy flights, and $500 in spending money
Kiosk at Summit Expo Floor
- Top 100 participants
- $100 AWS Credits
- All participants who join AWS AI League Space in Builder Center and complete a survey
- $25 AWS Credits
Winners shall be determined solely by their final position on the official Leaderboard at the conclusion of the applicable Competitive Event.
Entries that do not meet the requirements set forth in these Terms and Conditions may be disqualified in AWS’s sole discretion.
Winners will be selected upon completion of each Competitive Event. Each Competitive Event will occur at the 2026 AWS Summit. Approximate retail value of each prize is $1,000 USD (Workshop Prize), $15,000 USD (Gameshow Prize), $100 USD (Kiosk at Summit Expo Floor).
Prizes and Winner Notification
AWS Promotional Credits are subject to the terms and conditions set forth at https://aws.amazon.com/awscredits/. AWS Promotional Credits have no monetary value. AWS reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) for an item of comparable or greater value, at AWS’s sole discretion.
If you are selected as a potential winner of the Contest, AWS will contact you by the email used to enter the Contest by 11:59 PM local time, on the date of the respective Summit. The prize will be emailed to the email address you provide. Failure to provide the requested information or to respond to communications about the Contest within a reasonable period of time, as determined by AWS in its sole discretion, may result in the forfeiture of the prize.
By accepting the prize, you confirm that your receipt is neither prohibited nor inconsistent with any applicable laws, regulations, or binding orders, including applicable ethics or procurement rules, your receipt will not create a conflict of interest for AWS, and there are no ongoing competitive procurements for which your receipt of this benefit could conflict AWS from participating in the competition.
Re:Invent tickets awarded as part of the prize may not be resold, offered for resale refunded or exchanged for cash value or substitute tickets. Event dates and times are determined in the sole discretion of AWS and may be subject to change. If the winner is not available to attend re:Invent on the date specified by AWS, AWS will have the right in its discretion to deem the prize forfeited and to select an alternate winner. Contest Winners will be bound by and must comply with all applicable venue, hotel, airline, and/or transportation regulations (as applicable) in connection with attendance at the event.
Travel and accommodation restrictions and other additional restrictions may apply. If a Contest winner is not available for the trip on the dates specified by AWS, AWS will have the right to disqualify the winner and select an alternate winner. Travel arrangements must be made through PromoVeritas and on an airline carrier of PromoVeritas choice. Contest Winners are responsible for obtaining all required travel documents and travel insurance (and all other forms of insurance) at their option. AWS has not and will not obtain or provide travel insurance or any other form of insurance for Contest Winners. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight except at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in these Terms and Conditions and those set forth by PromoVeritas airline carrier of choice as detailed in the passenger ticket contract. Lost, stolen or damaged airline tickets will not be replaced or exchanged. AWS will be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions or substitutions or any act or omissions whatsoever by any air carrier(s) or other transportation companies or any other persons providing any of these services to passengers including any results thereof such as changes in services or accommodations necessitated by same. The passenger contracts in use by the airlines or other transportation companies will constitute the sole contracts with respect to the Contest Winner’s transportation and such contracts shall be solely between the Contest Winners and such transportation companies.
Personal Information
The following personal information will be collected by AWS for the Contest solely for the purposes of administering the Contest and verifying participant eligibility: name, city, state or province, country, email address, AWS Builder ID, phone number, and current role or job. Failure to provide all necessary personal information may result in participants’ participation in the Contest being deemed ineligible. AWS handles your information in accordance with AWS Privacy Notice.
Acceptance of prize by a winner constitutes permission for AWS to use winners’ names or likenesses, and city, state or province, and country, if submitted to AWS, for any disclosures required by law, including a winners list, and for advertising and promotional purposes relating to the Contest in any and all media now or hereafter devised, worldwide in perpetuity (or to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law), without additional compensation, notification or permission, unless prohibited by law.
By submitting your submission to the Contest, you represent and warrant that your submission does not: (i) perform or promote activities that are illegal; (ii) violate or infringe the intellectual property, proprietary, or other rights of others; (iii) perform or promote activities that are offensive or disparaging in any manner; or (iv) cause harm to others or to AWS’s operations or reputation.
Sponsor and Liability
The Contest is sponsored by AWS. AWS reserves the right to cancel or modify the Contest at any time and for any reason. AWS and its affiliates and licensors will not be liable to you under any cause of action or theory of liability relating to the Contest, even if a party has been advised of the possibility of such damages, for (a) indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or (b) lost profits, revenues, customers, opportunities, or goodwill. In any case, AWS and its affiliates’ and licensors’ aggregate liability under these Terms and Conditions will not exceed USD $100. The limitations in this paragraph shall apply only to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
